Mr. Aab has considerable experience defending persons charged with crimes.  He applies his experience as a detective to investigate cases and examine testifying police officers.  Such cases include:

Mr. Aab handles accident and medical malpractice cases in New York and the federal courts of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Aab works hard to protect immigrants who wish to enter and remain in the USA and to avoid deportation.  

 

He understands the impact of a conviction on a non-citizen's immigration status, and represents clients in their efforts to avoid deportation and separation from their families.  

 

He also handles applications for new immigration visas to the USA.

Mr. Aab understands the complexities of health care law and can guide clients through cases of suspected fraud or misuse of Medicare and Medicaid.

Bankruptcy

 

Mr. Aab is  experienced in personal and business bankruptcy having started his career as a research clerk to a United States Bankruptcy Judge.  

 

He can walk clients through all aspects of a Chapter 11 business reorganization, including helping those clients facing liens by the IRS and the NYS Tax Department.  For example, a business or individual who has filed for Chapter 11 reorganization has the right to pay the taxes due over a six year period, even without the consent of the IRS or State Tax Agency.
